We are the best the world has, the solution to the many problems the world faces today. Climate change, war, violence, famine and genocide; you may think that the solution lies with the Secretary General of United Nations or Presidents of G8 Countries. No, the solution has to start with you and me.

Don’t watch things happening and do nothing. We often like to push things over to other people who we think will solve the problem. However, you don’t need to be rich, you don’t need to be a star or president or a minister in order to help save a life. You don’t even need to do massive deeds to help; you just need to do something. Many small actions added together will make a big difference.

When people like Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King and others sacrificed their lives to bring change to the things that mattered most to them, some people were thought they were crazy. Today they are our heroes. We may not be in their position, but they are just like me and you; ordinary people doing extraordinary things.

We can make history as we seek change to save and protect the lives of vulnerable people. As Obama said; "Everywhere we look there is work to be done” and I agree with him, but it is us who will do that. We will work, together, as we move towards never again becoming a real never again.
