Bursaries:

Derby University UK is offering to part-sponsor two of its students, contributing £500 each towards the trip cost so they can participate in Discover Rwanda 2010. That means the total trip cost for two Derby Students; including flights (from the UK return), accomodation, food, activities (including safari, Aegis Students International Conference) for three weeks, will be £1480 (discounted from £1980).

“The University of Derby is pleased to be supporting Aegis Students Educational and Volunteering Trips to Rwanda – Discover Rwanda. For the 2010 trips, we will be part sponsoring two of our students to participate and are confident that this will trigger a long term engagement from our students to be active on issues relating to genocide and genocide prevention. We would like to encourage students at Derby University to apply for the trip as we know it will be a life-changing journey for them. I would also like to personally encourage other universities around the world to support their students to take participate in Discover Rwanda too.”
University of Derby Vice Chancellor, John Coyne

Eligibility: You must be a student at the University of Derby, UK.
